We recommend to depart around 08:00 am from the main harbor in Zakynthos town for the beautiful Island of Kefalonia and the mythical Ithaca. Our first stop is on one of Kefalonia’s beaches to allow you to relax and swim in the turquoise waters of the area. The beach is surrounded by impressive white rocky cliffs with lush vegetation on top of them creating a spectacular setting. The lush green area, the abrupt terrain, the white pebbles and the crystal waters compose a stunning scenery while a small part of the beach remains completely unspoilt, ideal for total isolation. The second stop is Sami where you can either go for a coffee and a stroll or if you prefer to swim, in Antisamo, well known by the filming of Captain Corelli’s mandοlin. It is also possible, by prior arrangement, for you to take a taxi to the Melisani Lake which is close by (please note that this might take time, as there is always a long queue in the Limini Melisanni). Leaving Kefalonia behind us, we head to Ithaca. Ithaca charms its visitors with its peaceful, quiet and undiscovered places, thus being ideal for alternative activities and a holiday living up to the standards of the most demanding ones. Ithaca coastline is truly impressive. Impressive secluded beaches, blue crystal clear waters and green touching the sea. ΚΙΟΝΙ village our stop, a beautiful, little fishing village, still untouched by time and tourism. Ithaca’s most beautiful village Kioni, an enchanting and quiet picturesque port. The entrance of the bay is dominated by 3 derelict windmills. The settlement has been classified as preserved. It was built in the 16th century and many of its homes still stand from that date.
